These days, many children have difficulty paying attention and concentrating in their classes at school. What are the reasons for this? How can it be dealt with?

Children nowadays seem to focus less on their lessons in the school as they play games, use the mobile phones, talk to their classmates, and concentrate on the other surroundings during the
class
. In
this
essay, I shall give two major reasons and solutions for
this
problem. As evidence suggests, the students pay less attention to what is taught by their teachers even though they are
such
the young age. The possible explanations which trigger

this difficulty
are the distractions from their environment and their impulsiveness. With the advent of technologies and attractive media shown in the our daily life, students who perceived those magnificent displays have a higher tendency to shift their interest from dull whiteboard written by the lecturers to

As a result
, the students are distracted what they have seen, and it is tough for a teacher to retain their focus.
Furthermore
, the Internet serves the users, which include a large number of students, an ultimate speed and fast-receiving results.
Therefore
, the young generation might not possess the ability to endure
this
conventional style of teaching. From there, lots of teacher mix and adapt the modern technological devices into their lessons in order to educate and entertain students. My chemistry teachers,
for instance
, have been using the platform named Kahoot. The Kahoot is a game where the organizers can invite the candidates, which are usually the
class
attendees, to answer 4-choice questions. From my experience, Kahoot not only revises the lesson we have learned throughout the
class
, but it
also
sets the scene as a competition among the participants and provides entertainment.
Besides
, the teachers can use the combination of digital devices and active learning to stimulate the entire
class
. Making group presentation and creating videos are one of the most effective ways to study new items actively. In conclusion,
although
the young learners are encircled by various disturbances, teachers can use
this
opportunity to accompany modern technologies with their traditional-style teaching, hoping that the students will develop more interest.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
