public in advance, I firmly believe in a balance between two types of news. On the one hand, it is widely agreed that from tabloid headlines to front –page magazines, dreadful news footage

as an unsolved murder, a terrorist attack, or a natural catastrophe are predominant. In fact, so sentimental are human beings that resistance to sensational news flash is virtually impossible.

Accordingly

, by taking advantage of human nature, news agencies are able to increase its circulation, which generates more revenues back to the firm,

raising the average salaries for editors, journalists, and newscasters. Beside its monetary aspect, devastating news broadcasts may

keep citizens abreast of the potential dangers.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:
