A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

The basic medium to earning knowledge for children is reading story books. Although watching TV or playing games on the computer is also a medium of learning, I think that, reading stories from books is better than TV or games. In this essay, I will discuss both phenomena and give an explanation of my opinion.

Financial illiteracy used to be the biggest problem of my childhood. Though, my mother had an average salary and some bonuses from my father as child support. Even though, my mom did not have enough financial knowledge to manage money effectively. I really did not have an idea what was happening due to my young and silly mind. As a big brother to my sister and an assistant to my mother, I had to find a way to abandon this paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle. I began to study financial literacy by reading Robert Kiyosaki's books and listening to interviews of successful traders and investors such as Warren Buffett, and George Soros. This was just fundament, afterward, I volunteered to be a financial assistant to the mother. Since then, I realised that I want to interconnect my life with money management.

Some people thought that students in higher education should pay all the cost of studies because it only develops personal skills and does not have any input to society. I totaly disagree with the view because if society want to develop themselves, they need highly educated people in science and technology field.

Nowadays there are a lot of translation software available, however, there is an opinion that learning a language could still be more helpful. In my opinion, both points of view make sense, but in the contemporary world I would definitely choose to know language.
