Plastic shopping bags are used widely and cause many environmental problems. Some people say they should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

bags are handy and can be seen everywhere in our daily life.

However

shopping bags. Personally speaking, I completely agree with

idea due to two main reasons. The primary reason for banning

plastic

bags is that they pose serious threats to human environment.

Plastic

bags are non-biodegradable, and

therefore

they would deteriorate our

soil

and air. Due to some inappropriate disposal of

plastic

bags, these bags may end up in landfills or even on the streets. It is common to see that people throw litter randomly on the streets, and many of them are

plastic

packaging for food and drink. These

plastic

debris would get into

Besides

, burning plastics in landfills would largely contribute to poor air quality, and

as sailing allow people to have opportunities to drop litter in the ocean, and again, many of trash is made of

debris as food.

, these debris cannot be digested in the stomach, which would cause stuck in animal’s organ. In

case, in a long run, those marine animals who ate

plastic

debris would eventually lose their lives. In conclusion, even though

plastic

bags play an important, inevitable part of human life, they should be banned in the near future in order to protect both human and wild animals’ habitat.
