Some people think that physical strength is important for success in sport, while other people think that mental strength is more important. Discuss both views and give your own opinion

Having an upper body strength is important in many sports
such
as wrestling while having a powerful
mind
is important in almost every game. Some people believe having a stronger physical image is more advantageous in sports,
however
, others believe, a stronger
mind
is important for success.
This
essay will shed light on both points of views and I will express my opinion, on why mental energy is a dominant skill to have a successful life in sports.
Firstly
, in regards to physical capabilities, to play sports,
one
needs to be healthy and in shape.
For instance
, sports
such
as rugby requires its players to tackle the opposing players. For
this
reason, players go through vigorous training to build bodily muscles, so they have the power to attack others in the play-offs. Without physical strength,

such
as rugby.
On the other hand
, some believe having a strong
mind
can lead you to victory, as
one
will never give up during a match.
For example
, on average
one
cricket game persists for 5 hours, the whole team needs to play wholeheartedly throughout the game to achieve fruitful results. For
this
reason, having a powerful state of
mind
is extremely essential when it comes to playing cricket, as they need to perform their best for long hours. In my experience, I have learnt that if your thought process is bold, no
one
can stop you from reaching the stars. I used to be inadequate at playing badminton, but once I made my thought process strong, and practised daily, I accomplished my goal of being a better player. To conclude, though physical toughness is a key component in many sports, it is not superior to having mental strength.
