Since the dawn of civilization, man has wondered if we are alone in the universe, and

exploration. It is argued that the funds used in creating and producing the technology for

expedition are not justifiable and that, there are more useful ways of spending

money. I completely agree that it can be used for more meaningful things of more value to humanity and will explain why.
Firstly
, the earth we live in has many needs other than the search for a new home or alien life. A key beneficial way of spending

money is to use it in the maintenance of our dear

means that we can reduce harmful activities that increase our carbon footprints like processing of wood with big machinery and industrial power plants etc, and turn to greener initiatives

as riding bicycles to work

of driving a car and encouraging afforestation. These help to create the awareness of the dangers we are facing in

deteriorating
planet
, earth.
Although
these agendas seem simple to implement, they are quite expensive and need funding. Some countries in Europe

and are spreading their policies throughout their nations to reduce these harmful actions to the environment, and are spending a lot of money on

started encouraging other countries to join the program.

will make the world better in the long run if the

allocated budget can be used to save the environment.

is currently dying, according to many scientific research journals, many animals have become endangered too. Another profitable way to manage the funds for

project is to protect endangered species by putting laws that will restrict the direct or indirect dangerous habits of people.

, sea turtles are suffocated daily by waste products and these are a cause by human activities,

as littering the ocean with plastic bags. Money should be spent cleaning the wastes and their debris

of flying to

, expecting to find the unknown.

In conclusion, it is, in fact, true that the

program is exciting and promising, and is in every young adult's dream. Even though the success of many
space
travels have been reported, I am convinced that the financial commodities that have been set aside for the

should be utilised on more beneficial needs of human beings
