It is better for young to get advice from older people than young people. Do you agree or disagree?

It is believed that young people should listen to elders because they have more experiences. While it is true that old people may have valuable suggestions, I do not agree that youngsters should not take
advice
 from those who are young. In
this
 essay, I will discuss the reasons why I do not agree with the statement.
Firstly
, everyone has different experiences and they can be shared with others.
For example
, scholarship winners may share their tips with others in other to help them succeed. That means, even if the advisors are young, their experiences applying for universities may be helpful and relevant.
Furthermore
, comparing a young winner with an old one who earned the same award years ago, it may be better to listen to the young one because his experience is new and maybe closer to the current requirements.
Thus
, in some cases, listening to young people may be a better choice.
Secondly
, it depends on which type of
advice
 to determine who should be followed. Take travel destinations as an instance, people around the same ages may share similar interests so the
advice
 may work better, while experiences from an older one may be irrelevant. In the order words, people should take
advice
 that they can be related rather than applying any of them because they may end up in a worse situation. To conclude, it is clear that young people should be able to evaluate
advice
 and should not apply them blindly even when it comes from people with lots of experiences.

    • Sentence 1 - Summary
    • Sentence 2 - Restatement of thesis
    • Sentence 3 - Prediction or recommendation
