In some countries, young people at the age of 18 are considered adults and can drive a car, vote and get married, while other countries don't allow it. What age do you think is the best to be considered an adult? Give reasons and examples.

Typically, in most of the countries, 18 is the
age
from where the independent life of a person starts, and one can take
decision
by itself.
However
, few other countries still restrict them to do several things until the
age
of 21. In my perspective, 18 is the best time to be considered as an adult, yet few limitations need to be imposed until they get mature enough;
for instance
, getting married or drinking alcohol. I will
further
discuss the reasons for
this
. The
age
of 18 is often considered a boarder-line, from where a kid would be considered an adult, but it isn't certainly true for every individual as the maturity level differs from person to person.

power and face the consequences of it, solely for the purpose of learning, yet there has to be a line drawn beyond which the parents must intervene. The marriage,
for example
, is a crucial
decision
which may destroy one's future if done at the wrong time.
Hence

ecision should be postponed until the
age
of 21.
Additionally
, the legal
age
of drinking has to be more than the teenage years, at least in the 20s. The youngsters are more likely to break the laws and get out of control under the influence of alcohol, which could be hazardous for them or the people around them. In the UK,
for example
, 80% of drunk and drive cases were reported from the teenagers.
Furthermore
, the probability of going astray or fall in the trap of drug dealer is pretty significant at
this
age
.
Thus
, the minimum
age
for drinking should have revised. By keeping the aforementioned points in mind, it is obvious that 18 is the number from where a growing kid needs to experience liberty in term of
decision
making;
nevertheless
, few parts of the real-life must be reserved for later for the betterment of their own-self.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
