Some schools have restricted the use of mobile phones
In most institutions worldwide, mobile phones are been used. While these gadgets play an important role in our everyday lives, many institutions have decided to stop the operation of phones during faculty hours. In my view, the restriction of cellular phones is more beneficial for the wellbeing and health of the students.
Restricting phone need in the classroom itself can improve learning. By doing so, students are to pay attention to lessons without getting distracted by electronics.
For example
, exchanging text messages during lessons would cause more students to lose focus in the classroom. Even the most observant teacher might not be able to stop them from resisting the urge to play with their electronics or responds to the sounds and vibrations it makes. As a result
of this
, it leads to low attention span which eventually causes the pupils to fail assignments, quizzes and exams or even acquiring the needed score. This
can have a long term effect in academic progress. A full ban on phones during academy hours, therefore
, increases the success rate and lets them focus.
In our generation, a complete ban on cellular phone handling during learning hours can improve the social wellbeing of the scholars. Handling phones consistently and always have the urge to respond to every beep or sound it makes in response to text messages or games can lead to the youngling being socially awkward and refusing to interact with others. For instance
, in an elementary institution, according to statistics, during r
ecess period, the teachers notice that the children prefer to handle only their cellphones for fun and to relax without mixing the public. Add an article

pattern, it leads to them not being able to interact with their peer both in the institute and in the real world which results in the kids getting bullied and manipulated easily. Taking away their electronics during teaching hours, helps them interact with one another and improves their lives in general
In conclusion, despite the fact that phones are a necessary part of our daily lives, I strongly feel their usage should be limited. By implementing these rules, students should be able to focus better, strengthen relationships and live healthier lives.Submitted by Abi Ikwue on
