Some people feel that the design of newly constructed buildings in big cities should be controlled by governments. Others believe those who finance the construction of a building should be free to design it as they see fit. Discuss both these views and give your opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

It is argued by few people that the government should take over the architecture of new skyscrapers in metros whereas others feel that engineers should have the liberty to construct it in their way as they are the ones who spend on the project. With the advancement of technology, Huge projects are built with recent designs and techniques, which indeed helps in enhancing areas' popularity as well as economy,
however
,I believe, Higher parties should have access to monitor and limit these consignments to some extent on grounds of safety and conservation of environment. It is believed that creativity has no limit. For any new invention, one needs freedom of thoughts and finances,
this
supports the idea that those who are responsible for constructing new buildings should be provided with complete freedom to make their own decisions, only
then
the masterpiece can be built.
For example
, Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the best known for its unique design and architecture. It is not only listed amongst one of the most visited places in the world in Times magazine in 2019 but
also
it attracts tourism enhancing the nation's economy.
On the contrary
,the other group believes
such
new land assignments should be carried out under complete supervision of the government. I certainly support
this
crowd mainly on two points;
firstly
at times skyscrapers are just attractive in their designs but they are so deficient on safety grounds.
For example
, Recent project by Piramal club on Mira road in Mumbai is built on the artificial land created on the sea, which is a dangerous thing as it does not have a firm base. My
second
reason is an environmental concern as most of

and is used for building mesmerizing structures but all
this
is done on the cost of nature.
For example
, A research in India today journal shows 1.5 million trees were destroyed in the past 5 years just for the sake of development of major cities.
Also
due to the creation of artificial ground, sea level is reduced which in turn can cause calamities
such
as floods, tsunami etc. in coming years. To sum up, Though few masses in society seek for liberty to builders for construction on accounts of design and money, I believe Government being the highest authority should approve projects only after complete assessment and clearance on the grounds of safety and environmental conservation.
