To what extent has the internet made life more convenient?

Almost every person in the world has an access to the internet nowadays. It is undeniable that computer network have made our lives easier;
however
there are few drawbacks of it as well. In
this
essay I would like to cover few points of advantages and disadvantages. One of the important benefits of cyberspace is the ability to connect people around the world and eliminate boundaries,
such
as: time, transportation and accomodation. Many students around the world have a privilege nowadays of attending desired institutions without leaving their house. They can study at their own pace with the use of technologies, which was not possible back in the day. Another advantage is the convenience of shopping. Nowadays, people are able to order online anything. There is no need anymore to go out from your home as everything can be delivered right to your doorstep.
For example
, there is a huge selection of applications on the phone that you can use to order different products. You can order food, electronic devices, household items and even liquor products.
However
, there are some downsides of the internet. In most cases, the information that has been entered online is available to everyone and it is not protected. The increased usage of Internet has
also
enlarged the number of electronic crimes. Private information can be compromised.
For instance
, there have been lots of cases when large corporations have been hacked and their client’s information was stolen and illegally used. Worryingly, the best developers have not found any perfect solution of how to protect and store databases. In concluion, I would like to say that there are lots of benefits of the Internet and it has indeed made our lives more convenient.
However
, there are lots of things that needs to be improved to protect users.
