More and more people are finding it increasingly important to wear fashionable clothes. Is this attitude to wearing clothes a positive development or negative?

It seems that customers tend to be selective in opting for trendy clothes as an essential thing on daily basis. In my perspective,
First
, increasing awareness of wearing fashionable clothes may be profitable for the garment industry. Because people continuously keep updating the latest fashion, they will purchase more stylish clothes, increasing the sales of the clothing company. Releasing a seasonal collection, as an illustration, is a logical strategy of retailers to attract more potential customers, as well as the prior season, will generally sell at a discount. In the following manner, the company will gain interest as quickly as possible due to the customer’s high demand in society.
Finally
, not only people enhance their appearances by wearing trendy garments but that accounts for a great income for employees involved in apparel businesses
Nevertheless
,
this
expansion of the fashion industry has a disastrous impact on the environment. When a majority number of consumers buy more clothes to have a sense of style, it
consequently
creates a huge amount of waste, which is the main factor of air and ocean pollution. According to some recent studies, carbon dioxide emission stemmed from out-dated clothes during the recycling process is higher three times than it is released from burning vehicles’ fuel.
Also
, microfibers, plastics found in any garments, are estimated to compose up half of the plastic pollution in the ocean.
As a result
,
this
attitude is considered detrimental to the ecosystem
that is
more crucial than the height of fashion. In conclusion,

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
