In some countries, most people prefer to rent a house rather than buying one. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of renting.

In a few nations, a large number of people believe renting a
house
is a better option than purchasing one. The primary disadvantage of buying a
house
is they cannot make any major changes in the
house
and the main advantage of
this
is that they can invest the same
money
in a
business
that can generate enough income to pay the rent and bills and still save some
money
for the future. The fundamental drawback of renting a
house
that the tenant cannot renovate the
house
according to their comfort level.
This
is to say that most landlords would not allow people who are renting their
house
to make any big changes and tenants have to make a sacrifice because they have signed the agreement paper.
For example
, in most of the agreement ,paper it is written that a tenant cannot change the structure of the
house
or do any kind of renovation that affect the total
house
.
However
, they are able to save the
money
that they would have invested if they bought their own
house
. The primary benefit of
this
is that they can put the
money
, in any
business
, they have saved by just not purchasing an apartment.
This
is because just by renting a
house
they have saved the
money
they would be needed to buy a
house
, now they can invest it in any
business
and after the
business
is properly set up it generates enough income to pay rent, bills and even they can buy a
house
latter.
For instance
, people who are more inclined towards entrepreneurship prefer to invest their savings in a
business
than buying a
house
because they know that after a few years that
business
would be able to purchase them a
house
. I believe it is a more practical approach because one can wait for owning a
house
. In many states, it is believed that renting a
house
is a more appropriate option than purchasing one. A major change that cannot be made is the biggest disadvantage of renting a
house
but the amount that can be invested in any
business
that increases the income is the primary benefit.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
