Some people think that uniform in schools is unnecessary and should be banned. To what extent do you agree?

It is viewed by a few individuals that
school
uniforms
ought to be banned as these are of no use.
However
, I disagree with
this
notion to a large extent and the reasons behind my stance are discussed in the following paragraphs. Admittedly, some people believe that banning
uniform
in
school
will provide freedom to little
ones
as they would be more focused on the study in their comfortable attires.
Nevertheless
, I oppose
this
idea because by implementing
such
policy, not only sufficient amount of time would be wasted on
students
on daily basis in choosing the clothes but
also
the expenses would rise in order to put on different dresses to
school
. Many kinds of research showed that an average
school
student would not be able to perform well in exams when he is distracted by the thoughts of dresses wearing to
schools
and expenses pertaining to it. For
this
reason,
uniforms
are required for
school
goers so that their minds would not be occupied with any kind of stress.
On the other hand
, the paramount reason in
this
context is that
uniforms
bring equality in institute culture. It is generally observed that pupils from various states, religions, and casts are studied in
schools
. In
such
a scenario, discrimination can erupt between the young
ones
if they begin to wear clothes of their own choice because a dress represents the background of a person. A case point in point is that in the wake of no
uniform
policy in
schools
, rich pupils might make fun of poor
ones
while wearing casual clothes as the outfits may not be fancy.
Thus
,
this
makes it obvious that banning
uniform
will destroy equality among tender minds. To fortify
further
, yet another aspect in
this
regard is that discipline is imposed in
school
with a
uniform
.
This
is primarily for a fact that once the
students
are given liberty to wear, they start coming to
schools
inappropriate dresses as per the fashion trends. Owing to
this
, it becomes unlikely for
school
authorities to control
such
pupils without making mandatory
uniform
to wear at institution premises. Not only
this
but, a
uniform
also
acts as an identity for any institute. Due to
this
,
students
from different institute can be recognized.
Therefore
, in the view of no dress rules,
schools
may have to face serious challenges. In the gist of the above contents, it can be concluded that
uniforms
have incorporated brotherhood and discipline among torchbearers.
Although
young
ones
might get freedom with the banning of
uniforms
, yet I think that the consequences are more severe for
students
as well as authorities.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
