Some people think that money is one of the most essential factors in promoting happiness. Do you think people can be happy without much money? what other factors contribute towards happiness?

A section of society believes that money plays a vital role in elating human happiness.
However
, in my opinion,
although
wealth helps in fulfilling the basic needs and desires of an individual, other factors can help an individual in leading a contented and happy
life
.
Although
money helps fulfil desires like branded apparel or expensive cars, it does not mean that someone leading
such
an affluent
life
can be happy.
This
is because to earn
such
lumpsum capital, one needs to work for long working hours. It might not only affect the health of an individual but
also
result in creating an emotional rift from his family. In the absence of love and care of his near and dear ones, a person might undergo depression and be devoid of happiness.
On the other hand
, an individual who has an earning that suffices to meet the basic daily needs but has the emotional support of his family leads a happier and contented
life
than the one who has the desired finances.
In addition
to a loving family, multiple factors are responsible for the mental prosperity of an individual.
Firstly
, one of the primary reasons that attribute to human contentment is
job
security and
job
satisfaction. A stable
job
not only brings in financial stability but
also
eliminates the fear of losing his
job
. As a consequence, an individual is able to live a stress-free
life
on his work front.
Secondly
, a healthy body
also
assists in leading a happy
life
. It means that an individual suffering from an incurable disease might be having surplus finances, the fear of death will not allow him to lead a contented
life
.
On the other hand
, a physically fit person is more relaxed and lives a joyous
life
. To sum up, money helps in meeting basic needs but it is not the only factor that surges human pleasure. Other factors
such
as a stable
job
and health contribute towards the contentment and happiness of an individual.
