Many young people are leaving their home in rural area to study or work in cities. What are the reasons? Do the advantages of this development outweigh its disadvantages?

RURAL-URBAN MIGRATION OF THE YOUTH FOR ERUDITION AND EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES IS A AN APPARENT TREND OF THE MODERN SOCIETY. IN
THIS
ESSAY, I WILL DISCUSS THE CAUSATION OF
THIS
SHIFT AND EXPLAIN WHY I OPINE THAT
THIS
DEVELOPMENT, DESPITE FEW DEMERITS, IS AN OVERALL A POSITIVE ONE.
TO BEGIN
, THERE ARE SALIENT REASONS BEHIND
THIS
DEMOGRAPHIC SHIFT WHICH ESPECIALLY INVOLVE YOUNG INDIVIDUALS.
FIRSTLY
, RUSTIC
AREAS
, PARTICULARLY THE REMOTE ONES, ARE DEVOID OF LEARNING
FACILITIES
THAT SUPPORTS HIGHER EDUCATION. TO EXEMPLIFY, IN THE PHILIPPINES, WHILE RURAL
AREAS
HAVE ELEMENTARY AND HIGHSCHOOL SCHOOL PLANTS SCATTERED ALL OVER THE REGION, MOST OF THE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ARE SITUATED IN THE CITY CENTRAL.
ADDITIONALLY
, WHILE
CITIES
ARE CONSIDERED AS THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYMENT, PROVINCIAL
AREAS
OFFER A VERY LIMITED JOB OPTION- AGRICULTURE, WHICH IS ITS PRIMARY INDUSTRY. BECAUSE OF WHAT
CITIES
OFFER AS OPPOSED TO WHAT COUNTRYSIDE IS DEPRIVED OF,
HENCE
, THE SHIFT. WHILE
THIS
DEVELOPMENT HAS FEW CERTAIN DISADVANTAGES, THE ADVANTAGES IS MORE.
FIRST
, YOUNG INDIVIDUALS WOULD BE CATERED TO WITH HIGHER EDIFICATION AS STELLAR LEARNING
FACILITIES
ARE A PART OF URBAN BASIC INFRASTRUCTURES. LIKE THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES
FOR INSTANCE
, WHICH IS CLASSIFIED AS A HIGH-CALIBER INSTITUTION IN ASIA, SEATS AT THE VERY HEART OF MANILA, PHILIPPINE'S CAPITAL. THERE ARE AS WELL OTHER EDUCATIONAL
FACILITIES
THAT CATERS THE NEED OF STUDENTS DEPENDING ON THEIR INTEREST LIKE, ARTS SCHOOLS, VOCATIONAL OR TECHNICAL COLLEGES
FOR INSTANCE
. THESE TYPES OF
FACILITIES
CAN BE ACCESSED HIGHLY IN URBAN
AREAS
ONLY.
FURTHERMORE
, METROPOLISES ARE OFTEN CONSIDER AS CORNUCOPIA OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRADE OPPORTUNITIES. OBVIOUSLY, BIG
CITIES
ARE OFTEN THE TRADE CENTER OF EVERY COUNTRY.
THUS
, ONE CAN ALWAYS FIND A WORK IN THE
CITIES
, ALBEIT WITH STIFF COMPETITION. WITH ALL THESE, IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT INDEED,
CITIES
CAN PROVIDE YOUNG ASPIRANTS WITH A CHANCE FOR SOCIAL MOBILITY IN THE FUTURE. TO RECAPITULATE, RURAL-LEAVERS FOR URBAN LIFE AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE IS A COMMON TREND IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD.
THIS
IS OWING TO THE WHAT URBAN LIVING OFFERS AS OPPOSE TO WHAT RUSTIC LIVING CAN GIVE TO YOUNG PEOPLE.
THIS
DEVELOPMENT,
HOWEVER
, IS BY AND LARGE A POSITIVE ONE AS IT FOSTERS SOCIAL MOBILITY AND JOB PROSPECTS FOR THE YOUTHS,

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
