Government should spend more on railways than roads. Do you agree or disagree with the statement.?

In our modern world today, the government is faced with problems regarding smooth transportation or journey. It is believed by some
people
that higher authorities must spend more money or effort on
railways
than
roads
. I certainly believe in
this
statement. Our everyday routine as persons in
this
busy world is indeed tough, especially for those unwealthy nations wherein their form of transportation is yet to be improved. If the government give more importance to
railways
, our traffic concern will be reduced.
Thus
it helps to promote accessibility to our place of work or to universities.
This

faster speed and saves time for busy
people
. It
also
implies a convenient journey wherein
people
be able to sit without congestion or exhaustion.
Railways
also
help to hasten the air pollution caused by smoke-belching vehicles. Construction of
railways
indeed imposed more expenses but definitely gives a long-lasting benefit to a country.
On the other hand
, the government has the responsibility to provide smooth and well-functioning
roads
for
people
but not as important as the construction of
railways
.
Roads
are important yet these are the continuous concern of mankind. Every year , most
roads
are repaired due to some climate changes like floods. In urban areas, some
roads
are so inconvenient and do not promote safety for travellers, causing only accidents and disturbances to all motorist. In conclusion,
railways
are more beneficial to humans. Not only it promotes safety and convenience but it can help alleviate air pollution in some congested areas.
