Advertising that targets children should be banned from our televisions. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is argued by some that advertising that attracts and targeting
children
should be prohibited from television. I completely agree with this
opinion and in this
I will state the reasons for my view.
The most compelling reason for holding to my view is that advertisements are tempting to Add a comma
,this
children
. This
is because it shows commercials on foods, toys, and games. For example
, they display PlayStation advertisements during various series or movies. As a result
, children
find a way to demand what was shown on the television.
Another reason for my position is that some publicity show
fake magic. They provide illogical content. Change the verb form
shows
For example
, in Bournvita or Horlicks or Maggi advertisements, they show increasing height and boost immunity by consuming them. Consequently
, children
will prefer to take it more instead
of taking real food which provides more benefits.
Lastly
, few gaming ads are violent and show stunts. They display toddler
flying in the air. They jump from one building to another building. Fix the agreement mistake
toddlers
For instance
, in PUBG games, they kill others and win the games. Therefore
, It creates a wrong impact on the teenager's mindset. They may also
apply in their real life.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the opinion that prohibition of advertisement should happen. This
is because of its unnecessary demands which were displayed during commercials, negative impressions on food items that do not provide any minerals and vitamins and fake stunt shows which can have a mental impact on children
. Given this
situation, it is recommended that governments around the world should think about the impact before giving permission to display them.Submitted by rishu1210 on
