It is now possible for scientists and tourists to travel to remote natural environment, such as the South Pole. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

With the aid of transportation technologies, it is now possible to reach even the most distant regions in the world.
, I would contend that the merits of
development are outweighed by its drawbacks. On the one hand, the ability to travel to anywhere in the world confers considerable benefits.
of all, the discovery of new areas allows everyone to gain a better understanding of the Earth and new species.
newfound knowledge can act as a precursor to clinical breakthroughs or provide scientists with comprehensive insights to more effectively combat environmental issues
as climate change. Access to previously unreachable scenic beauty
suggests tourism opportunities as travel enthusiasts are always on the lookout for new exotic getaways.
, I am in favour of that the positive aspects of
trend are eclipsed by more immediate threats to life in
natural world. More often than not, as major corporations set foot on and exploit tourism in these places, the construction of tourism facilities probably drives out the indigenous people living there. In fact, hotels and recreational facilities emerged at the expense of the locals’ accommodation. These people are coerced into assimilation, which, as history has indicated, results in the loss of civilisations and cultures.
, the presence of foreign visitors in
areas poses certain harms to the natural environment, namely water contamination, land degradation and natural resource depletion. In conclusion, as exciting as the thought of travelling to these remote natural destinations may sound, in my view, they are better off left untouched.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
