modern age, we see advertisements in every aspect of our life
such
as walking on the streets, on television, or even on smartphone applications. Everything is filled with commercials that put sceptical thoughts into our minds about choosing the right product. In my opinion, commercials provide us with information about commodities which could be helpful in terms of our needs and benefits towards our lifestyle.
Firstly
, due to the information age, a healthy percentage of society is putting effort before buying foods or medicine that can directly affect their health.
For example
, foods like chia seeds, oats, protein bars etc. are gaining popularity among the health-conscious public. In
this
case, advertisements play a vital role in providing information about these kinds of merchandise.
However
, there is a widespread notion among the crowd that floods of endorsement can sometimes lead to purchasing goods that are not essential in their life. I beg to disagree with
this
belief up to some extent because even though we are bombarded with lots of publicity,
however
, it goes down to personal choice whether to buy that product or not.
For instance
, there are lots of commercials about sports equipment, clothing, cars, fishing gadgets etc., around but not many populations would fall for it since they know that these products are not required as of right now.
Hence
, we can defer buying products even though they are advertised heavily. In conclusion,
although
we are surrounded by exhibits of several products which we might use in our daily life but it can not influence our thought process to buy it regardless of its necessity. Comments:
