Many people think technological devices such as smart phones, tablets and mobile phones bring more disadvantages than advantages. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is often argued that technology made human
life
easy, but we
also
cannot deny its destructive effects on our everyday
life
. The majority of the folks think that it has more negative impacts on our
life
than benefits. I personally disagree with
this
statement as I have enough reasons to prove my point.
To begin
with, technological
devices
made our
life
easy. We can call anyone, anytime, even if that person is sitting on the other side of the world. Apart from that, we can
also
use
it for other purposes as well ,
for example
, if I want to order food from a restaurant I don't have to wait for hours in the line it's just
one
tap away and I am going to get my food delivered at my home. All in all, these
devices
bring families together even if their loved
one
is living far away from them. Moving
further
, Most of these gadgets are cheap and small in size that we can carry them with us anywhere.
In addition
, these
devices
have so many apps that we can
use
for various purposes
for example
, if
one
wants to learn about something they can
use
the google app as it has all the necessary information that we can
use
on an everyday basis. Apart from that google maps, Watch, Youtube is some of the useful apps that we can
use
any time we want. There is a famous saying " the world is
one
tap away" and that perfectly fits on electrical
devices
. In the
last
, I just want to say that technological gadgets made our
life
so easy that we are not alone anymore. After all , I can say that the advantages of these
devices
easily outweigh the disadvantages.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
