Some people think that it is more beneficial to take part in sports which are played in teams, like football. But others think taking part in individual sports is better, like swimming. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Sports
are believed to be the number one recreational activity.
However
, many argue that club
games
have a slightly higher edge than individual
games
. I opine that both are equally good due to the following reasons. I believe any
games
are good for the development of physical and mental health. The success of any sport can be measured by viewership, fans and sponsors. It is on media and sponsors who highlight them most depending on where they gain the most benefit out of it.
Sports
like football, hockey, soccer, cricket bring more audience and because of the popularity, entrance fees are significant.
Sports
played in
teams
bring motivation, team spirit and the best out of your skills. Due to monetary gain, prize money is much higher than individual
sports
, so youth get attracted to it easily.
Games
played in a group demonstrates teamwork and not focusing on personal records at the cost of the team and country.
However
, individual
sports
like tennis, swimming and athletics are no less than
teams
'
sports
. It
also
requires individual skill at peak in order to attract the crowd. Even, people come to see
teams
'
sports
just to see one or two of the youth icons who play in the eleven. Competitions played at the world stage like Olympics, Asian and commonwealth
games
have many individual
sports
which bring many tourists and boost the host country's economy and local businesses. Overall, I believe, both
teams
and individual
games
should be promoted equally.
Moreover
, infrastructure should be developed by keeping both types of activities in mind.
