despite a variety of sports facilities and gyms, people are less fit nowadays more than ever before. what do you think are the main causes of this problem? what solutions can you suggest?

Fitness is necessary for today's hectic lifestyle for
people
of all age groups.A variety of
sports
facilities and gyms are available but still,
people
are less fit nowadays due to a lot of reasons which are discussed in the essay.
Firstly
, in
this
fast pace life,
people
hardly get any
time
other than their desk job. They rarely go outside for any
sports
activities or any gym for physical fitness. If they have any leisure
time
then
they like to watch movies or spend
time
on social media.
Moreover
, they like to eat more outside in a restaurant or street food rather than having a healthy meal. They prefer packaged food over fresh fruits and vegetables which affect their physical health and leads to obesity.More stress at the job
also
leads to deteriorating mental and physical health. Children
also
suffer from obesity due to more intake of junk food.Nowadays, due to the popularity of the internet, children are less interested in
sports
they prefer playing games on the internet and indulge themselves more in social media. I would suggest that
people
should do physical exercise like running, swimming, weight training and indulge themselves in various
sports
on regular basis.They can
also
join the gym and have a personal trainer which will help them manage their proper weight.
In addition
, a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition through healthy eating should be followed by individuals of all age groups.Stress management through social interaction and spending
time
with family leads to proper mental health. Ultimately, good mental and physical fitness leads to growth of the society and increase life expectancy and efficiency.
