Nowadays, more and more people decide to have children later in their life. What do you think are the reasons for this? Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?

Unquestionably, there has been a gradual rise in the number of couples who decide to delay parenthood in
this
cutting-edge society.
This
trend stems from several culprits, and I lean toward its negative aspects overshadowing the optimistic ones. There are various reasons cited to justify the tendency of giving birth at a later period of life. The initial culprit lies in the fact that as the market is reasonably competitive, young adults delay fathering children with a view to devoting themselves to a sound foundation for their dream occupation. Another significant reason is that experienced
parents
better raise youngsters. It is equally vital because older fathers and mothers are primarily more experienced, affluent, and more responsible for a child's upbringing. I am thoroughly convinced that the detrimental aspects of bearing the child at a preliminary stage outweigh its benefits. Children born by more prosperous and experienced
parents
enjoy more incredible/more invaluable opportunities to benefit from a comprehensive academic education. By
this
trend,
parents
'
first
working years will be interrupted by pregnancy and childcare.
Nevertheless
, delayed parenthood is undoubtedly associated with countless health issues that are far more crucial than the mentioned advantages. If aged couples decide to give birth, there are several severe illnesses in the prenatal and postnatal period, like excessive bleeding or being unconcerned for a long time after childbirth. If any maternal health problem arises, the family will be irreparably regretful. From what has been discussed above, we might conclude that delaying parenthood can be blamed for numerous factors.
Although
several benefits are apparent, I suggest future
parents
consider its adverse aspects regarding women's and children's wellness.
