some of my furniture, you might ask why? Well, I realised that my room is a bit chocked up and I can get more space by selling some of the furniture. I will be selling the big black three-seater chair in my living room. It is covered with pure leather, nice wood finishing and a soft cushion. You are definitely going to enjoy using the chair, I promise you. So, when will you be available to have a look at it? I would suggest you come around on the 3rd of December, 2021. Use cohesive linking words accurately and appropriately

Linking words are very important in your essay.

To score effectively on your IELTS exam, you should make an effort to implement short concise sentences coupled with linking words.

Almost every sentence in your essay should have a linking word of some sort.

In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.

Linking word examples:

  • firstly
  • secondly
  • thirdly
  • in additional
  • moreover
  • also
  • for example
  • for instance
  • therefore
  • however
  • although
