The high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising but not the real need of the society where such products are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Currently, the high

of consumer goods have always been the topic of interest. It is argued that these
products

reflect the advertising power but not the real demand of society. While
this

thinking is valid to a certain extent, I contend that
people

still purchase based on their needs. Without a shadow of a doubt, advertisement plays an imperative role in the increase of productions'

. Advertising agencies promote their

by using famous

and social influencers in their business.
For example

, celebrity advertisements convince the buyers that they can achieve a better lifestyle or simply they will have the same stuff with their idols.
That is

the reason why many branded items

as clothes, perfumes and accessories are high in demand in spite of their prohibitively exorbitant prices compared to their actual value.
As a result

. While the redeeming features of advertisement are widely acknowledged, the demands for commodities are still considered when

to their cart. Since not everyone is able to afford a variety of goods to overstock their house, they might need to evaluate the value of these things whether it is worth spending money on.
For instance

Therefore

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
