Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In light of technological advancement, much valuable information can be found on the internet, public forums and databases.
This
also
means that scientific
data
and
business
experiences can be shared on these public platforms. Some people advocate companies and businesses to attribute their
work
publicly, others believe the opposite because of the value of that information. For
this
, I will explain both views and give my own thoughts about these controversial ideas. On the one hand, sharing
data
to global platforms will catalyze science and
business
to develop faster. By submitting working
results
and discussing them publicly, global workers are providing helpful
data
to other businesses and researchers. They help others to gain experiences without having to conduct the project and scientific journals is an excellent example of
this
as there are millions of researchers following these papers to gain more knowledge.
Moreover
, many
results
have an important impact on projects which are suspended by the shortage of
data
. In fact, the rapid development of Covid drugs depends on
this
data
-sharing scheme, where scientists globally
work
together to solve a mutual problem. Sharing information as much as possible is making science,
business
and study more approachable and catalyzing projects to move forward.
On the other hand
, it is easy to understand why some disagree with the sharing scheme, mostly relating to personal and company's
rights
. In order to protect the author's
rights
, some
data
must be kept secret, any stolen
data
would be detrimental to one's
work
and career, some had lost his or her patent because of
this
. The fact that
this
happened to a student in Vietnam illustrates
this
perfectly, his partner secretly took all of his
work
, won a competition and successfully earned a scholarship, leaving him with a meaningless project.
In addition
, many companies would preserve their
rights
to own
data
which benefit them in terms of commercial products.
This
can be seen in every corner of the
business
world
such
as agricultural goods and mechanical manufacturing. By preserving artificial
results
, businesses and authors'
rights
and benefits can be well-protected. In my opinion, it is important to share
results
and experiences worldwide,
nevertheless
, personal
rights
and the company's profits must be included when submitting
data
, helping the
business
and academic world to thrive.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
