Some people think that money is one of the most essential factors in promoting happiness. Do you think people can be happy without much money? What other factors contribute towards happiness?

It is the belief by some
people
that
money
is an important component of being happy. In my opinion,
people
can be content with their
life
despite not having a big fortune. Happiness is achieved when having good health and when having close relations with friends and family members.
People
can live happily even though they do not have a lot of wealth.
This
is because
money
is not the only factor that makes
people
content with their
life
. Most
people
are not rich, but that does not mean that they are prone to unhappiness.
Although
money
can be useful for buying everything one would want, it can not replace an unhappy
life
.
For example
, rich
people
are not necessarily more happy than others.
That is
, as they have achieved to become wealthy they have worked a lot and lost closed relations which make them less happy.
Instead
of earning a lot of
money
, factors in
life
such
as having good health and having near friends and family to connect with are more important for happiness.
That is
to say, a healthy body and mindre fundamental for being able to function in everyday
life
. When
life
is difficult reaching out to near friends or family members is
also
mandatory in order to come back to normal.
For example
,
people
with fewer resources but see family relatives daily experience a richness in their
life
which contribute to their happiness despite their lack of wealth. To conclude, I believe
money
is not as important for being content with
life
as there are factors
such
as having good health and close relations that are more valuable
