While some individuals state longer prison sentences are the best way to decline crimes, others believe that there are effective other methods for this matter. Two views will be discussed in the following paragraphs. Meanwhile, for several reasons I agree with the second side, which I explain.

In recent decades, since crime has been a common issue worldwide, whether reinforcement of legacies ought to be imposed or just little action is enough in order to prevent crime has been hotly debated. In my opinion, the prevention of crime can be accomplished in both ways, depending on the situation.
