More and more people prefer to read ebooks rather than paper books. What are the reasons for this? What problems can this cause for libraries? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

people
prefer to read ebooks rather than to
view
paper
books
there are many causes for
this
and some problems that can cause for
libraries
. in
this
essay I will be explaining reasons and the effect on
libraries
.
firstly
ebooks are more accessible in today's technology and more than half of the
people
have smartphones in their hands and they can download an app to
view
ebooks for free and
also
buy an iPad where it is light and more compatible to
access
pages of
books
with more than 10000 of
book
and every category of
books
they can find online
also
nowadays new and more efficient tablets are around for daily readers to read any
books
with new inventions where there is no or less damage to eyes while viewing material. the content
users
find online is much more compatible with their eyes while viewing because they enlarge the font size or reduce it up to the reader's preference.
moreover
,
people
like to read everywhere not sitting in one place so it is easier for
people
to
view
while travelling in a bus or while attending a lecture have
access
to the textbook the lecturer is teaching or even
view
in their free
time
.
secondly
, the problem with having to read a practical
book
in a
library
is
people
often tend to get bored or back issue sitting and reading for hours and sometimes the
book
which the readers want to study is not available or someone has already taken to read and the user has to wait for his turn that might take
time
and they might get annoyed.
people
who have technical issues reading a
book
where they cannot see because the text is very small have to buy glasses to just see the text or have to read with stressing their eyes.
also
, the
books
users
want to read are not accessible everywhere they have to go to a specific place every
time
they have to
view
a
book
or read when they are interested.
for example
, if the
book
is not available with the user in his exam
time
he may fail in his exam as he was not having the content he will get in his exam or he is allowed textbooks only in the
library
and will not allow him to take home the
book
so he has to forcefully study in the
library
and
also
cannot
view
the topics in the
last
moment as he did not have the textbook with him.
lastly
, as ebook
users
increase day by and have
access
to more data and
libraries
cannot provide more data and accessibility to their
users
this
will lead to the decrease in
library
books
users
as they will get bored of coming to
libraries
or not having
access
to
view
their content on
time
. after some
time
libraries
may close due to
users
not visiting and more and more
libraries
close down.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
