Dear Mr Smith, I am writing to request you to change my room as I am finding some challenges to continue staying with my roommate. My roommate, with whom I have been staying for more than 2 years has fallen into bad company. We are having frequent fights and arguing often because of his new friends. as a result
, I can hardly get enough sleep. Due to lack of sleep, I am unable to concentrate during classes, which has affected my exam results.
Therefore
, I would like to change my room to a single accommodation in the

semester.
Additionally
, I would prefer an attached bathroom and a WiFi connection. I hope you consider my request and grant me permission to move into a new room. Yours sincerely, Sneha Kapoor

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
