Hello David, How are you? It has been a week since we were able to catch up and meet each other. I'm writing to give you my advice about the English
course
at Athens Technical College. Let me give you some details related to the
course
that I have enrolled in
last
year.
Firstly
, the
course
name is English as a
second
language.
Secondly
, it is very affordable and you can conduct it on campus and online as well.
Finally
, the duration of the whole
course
is only three months. I highly recommend that you join
this
course
at Athens Technical College because they have highly qualified teachers and they are
also
close to where you live. By the way, do you remember Dava Dobes? She used to play with us when we were young. Now, she is teaching there. Regarding the application,
although
they used to accept online applications, not anymore. Unfortunately, you have to go and fill out an application on campus Monday to Friday from 8:00 A.M. till 4:00 P.M. I can't wait to know your
next
step. Best wishes, Jay

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
