Today, the majority of children are raised by their grandparents due to the fact that their parents are busy working. To what extent do you think it affects the whole family?

Nowadays, not only in cities but
also
in rural areas,
children
are grown up under the guidance of their
grandparents
.
This
is because their
parents
are busy with their work.
However
, I would contend that these phenomena bring both merits and demerits for the family.
Firstly
, in
this
hectic schedule,
grandparents
play a paramount vital role in the entire family.
Secondly
, The
parents
who are busy with their job could not properly monitor the daily activities of their
children
. The
grandparents
are the best caregivers for kids
instead
of babysitters.
For example
, the
children
have heard precisely folk tales from them before sleeping, simultaneously, the
grandparents
impart not only the theme of the story but
also
etiquette as well as standard manners via these stories.
On the other hand
, the relationship gap between
parents
and
children
will increase. The
parents
do not aware of their
children
where they are going or whom they meet,
as a result
, it will be a high possibility that the
children
can involve in any unwanted activities like drug addiction. If their
children
are involved in
such
activity
then
the whole family will suffer in future.
Furthermore
,
Children
do not concentrate on their studies when their
parents
are absent at home during their working hours. They spend their maximum time playing video games or other sports.
Consequently
, their academic results collapse, which will impact their later life. Due to
this
reason, their family members are
also
suffering. To conclude,
although
the
children
who grow up with their
grandparents
have some positive effects, their negative effects outweigh the positive ones.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
