In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of aging populations.

Thanks to the development of contemporary society, average life has been prolonged. Some assert that there are potential issues due to a lot of pensions for seniors.
However
, there are possible solutions to address them. On the one hand,
youngsters
might feel an excessive
burden
because they have to pay taxes to support old
people
. As seniors are being paid by governments from
retirement
, and they live longer than in the past, young adults should handle pensions for a longer time.
For example
, a survey conducted by the Korea Young Adults Support Foundation has revealed that each young adult pays taxes for almost 3.3% of the number of elders. As the example clearly illustrates, many
youngsters
suffer from a
burden
of taxes that are used for old
people
,
However
, governments can reset the
retirement
age. Since seniors sustain their life healthier and longer because of development in the modern era, they can work
further
and longer. Not only can extended working-age bring about vibrant and active lives among old
people
, but it may
also
lead to reducing a strain on
youngsters
. Recent media reports in Korea would seem to suggest that if governments extend the
retirement
age to 70 years old, almost one-
third
of the strain would be decreased. In conclusion, while I accept that development in the current society helps
people
live longer, I would point out that it causes an enormous
burden
on
youngsters
due to pension for old
people
. Prolonging
retirement
age can be a key factor to decrease the problem of a high
burden
of tax for
youngsters
.
