't until I opened my bags in the morning that I discovered what had happened. There's a blue file with my name on it. It contains a number of vital paperwork, including my business visa, passport copies, and other financial documents. I believe I put it in the dressing table's first drawer. Could you please check to see whether it's there? If you come across it, keep it secure. These are sensitive documents, as you are aware, and I do not want anyone else to have access to them. I've requested my cousin Vini to pick it up from your location. She is currently out of town and resides in Sydney. She'll pay you a visit on Tuesday. Before you pass it over to her, please cover the file with a decent file cover. Thank you once again for all of your assistance and support. Please convey my best wishes to the entire family. Hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Nithisha

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
