The chart shows how many academic jobs are there in five humanities and social sciences subjects in three separate years. Generally, English is the most popular choice throughout the period, while sociology and philosophy are the subjects that the least people obtain employment. In 2012, the number of jobs in English take the leading position, with 1200 participants which is almost twice as many as the other four disciplines.
