In their advertising, business nowadays usually emphasise that their products are new in some way. Why is this? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

In the strategy of
product
sales, advertising is one of the main keys. Many businesses make the
novelty
in their
products
compared to other
products
as a top priority in sales advertising. In my opinion, showing the
novelty
of the
product
can attract the target market.
This
can have a positive impact because it can encourage business people to continue to develop
products
with features that provide new and unique experiences.
Product
advertising strategy with
product
novelty
becomes the main focus because there is something unique and different that will be gained from
this
product
so it is more likely not boring for consumers.
For example
, when we buy a smartphone, potential buyers tend to choose features that have never existed on a smartphone before,
such
as Korean brand
products
that provide folding features on their smartphones. At the
first
launch, many buyers were enthusiastic to get it immediately. The
novelty
in
this
product
encourages business people to continuously innovate in developing new
products
.
This
can lead to
product
inventions that may be unexpected and unimaginable to the public.
However
, it should be noted that in developing the
novelty
of
this
product
, it is necessary to pay attention to how significantly
this
function can be used. Only aesthetic or indeed can
also
be very useful.
For example
, in the same Korean brand of smartphone
products
, one of its advertisements shows a container with a large LED screen in the back that can help the car driver behind the container to see the situation in front if they want to overtake.
This
can be very useful because it can reduce the risk of accidents. To my view, advertising
products
by showing
novelty
is an interesting thing and has a positive impact on businesspeople to innovate.
However
, it should be noted how far
this
novelty
function can be useful for consumers.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
