You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write about the following topic. Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives. Which viewpoint do you agree with? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words.

Advertising is the way to communicate the potential customers about your product. It is there for ages. In the initial times, companies or an individual used pamphlets to advertise. There are different opinions about it, few communities encourage having it but few are against it.
Firstly
, we can discuss why they are needed. Let's take an example where an individual has opened an ice cream parlour. That person wants to publicize about it that folk in the vicinity can buy different varieties of ice cream from his shop. Now, the ones who pass by that shop will know about it but what about the crowd living away for 2 blocks on the same street. One of the ways is to send pamphlets to the nearby region, another could be putting some banners on the main street etc. If the owner will not communicate with people in the near region, he will never be able to have good sales. So lead generation is needed for the business to start or grow.
Secondly
, we have people which hate the advertisements as they are not related to them.
For example
, an individual who does not want to buy a car as he already has 3 cars is not interested in buying a car advertisement. People get frustrated when they are bombarded with
such
ads which they are not interested in, From my point of view, most advertisements are digital and they should be personalized. If a person wishes not to see any of them, there should be a paid version. It can help the public to know about good deals in their area.
For example
, if I want to buy furniture, I should be getting ads related to it, so that I can make a good decision. These platforms should be regulated for blocking spam and should validate ads before forecasting it. I hope we will follow these ideas, it can help us together in a good society.
