In some countries children are often told that can achieve anything if they try hhard enough what are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message

✨ Do you want to improve your IELTS writing?
Nobody is a stranger to the fact that in some nations kids are often taught that can achieve anything if they put on a lot of effort. To my way of thinking, there are both pros and cons in equal measure to
this
turn of events. There are many reasons, if you ask me, why
this
initiative has advantages. In the
first
place, it makes children become more confident in themselves. Children have many dreams since they are at the beginning of their lives and they think everything is possible. When adults encourage them to fulfil their dreams and believe in themselves, they are even more motivated to achieve their goals. On top of
this
, they stay positive even if they fail on certain things.
This
is because they have been taught that persistence and hard work are the key foundation to making everything happen. It follows,
therefore
, that they are more resilient in facing difficulties. Be that as it may,
however
, there are many reasons why our pre-teens should not bring up in
this
way. For one thing, they may set unrealistic goals, which are not possible.
For instance
, they may think they can become millionaires at the age of fifteen and when they reach that age, they become frustrated and disappointed that they did not get it. Not only that, kids may push themselves to their limits and work too hard, which can cause stress to them.
This
is bad for pre-teens' health. Turning to my own experience, the way things are when it comes to
this
issue in my country, China, is very similar to the turn of events the world over. Here, many school kids are forced to compete with their peers rather than work together for all benefits. As a rule, they have enormous pressure. At the end of the day, there are merits and drawbacks to all choices that we make in life. Parents
also
need to be realistic with their children's capabilities.
