The chart illustrates the

of populations of different genders pursuing their
study
either full-time or part-time basis in Britain for three consecutive years. Overall, there were increased
numbers
of full-time and part-time students furthering their studies from 1970 to 1991.
However
, there was a significant difference between the
numbers
of students who took full-time and part-time studies over the years. The highest
number
of females furthering their part-time
study
was in 1990-1991 with the total
number
of 110,000 while in males, which the highest was in 1970-1971 with 100,000.
In contrast
to the part-time basis, the
number
of populations doing the full-time
study
is a way lesser than the part-time. Being said that, the lowest
numbers
can be seen in 1970/71 for both men and women. The
numbers
of both populations continuing their
study
as full-time students growing over the years with the highest
number
being in 1990/91. In 1990/91 , more than 200,000 females and furthering their full-time studies.
