Group or team activities can teach more important skills for life than those activities which are done alone. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays various
team
-building exercises are being taught to
people
in order to improve their overall development. Many
people
are of the view, that group activities can help them learn much better skills for life whereas, some believe that activities done by oneself carry more advantage. I certainly believe, that teamwork holds greater importance than individual work.In
this
essay, I will
further
elucidate my opinion on the same.
To begin
with, the most important art that working in a
team
can teach is being a good leader.Leadership qualities play a crucial role in shaping the future of every person.
Furthermore
, it aids them in managing a group of
people
.
For instance
, working in an IT industry involves managing a large number of
people
and if students, who are about to work in these tech companies are taught beforehand it will be beneficial for them.
Similarly
, there are many activities that can be done on a personal level and without any
team
but the major drawback behind
this
is, that
people
will not be able to learn the importance of a
team
.They might learn a few skills like cooking, driving etc but these tasks can be learned in a short period of time whereas learning teamwork requires a longer time.
Additionally
, it will help everyone to learn the feelings of their
team
member and would be able to interact with them on a much deeper level. To sum it up, there may be many advantages relating to individual work but learning teamwork is one of the most important skills that one should prioritize
first
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
