Recycle is now an essential measure: it is time for everyone in society to become more responsible towards the environment. To extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

With the rapidly increasing economy,
people
can enjoy a much higher quality of life than before and have an unlimited material desire which leads to many problems for the
environment
. In
this
case, the citizens, government, and social organizations should get together to put more
effort
into the
environment
by starting with recycling and other actions. Undeniably, recycling is
people
’s duty since there is a lot of rubbish produced every day. By easily separating garbage into the right section, it would be a great help to cleaners working in the recycling sector and the ecosystem
such
as forests, polar bears, and creatures in the ocean.
However
, putting in
such
effort
is time-consuming and costs a lot of money; hard to see a significant difference immediately. In fact, laziness is a human’s natural instinct. It is hard to make individuals stick to
this
notion and keep having
this
good habit.
Therefore
, governments should set up some restrictions which could effectively force
people
to do recycling. Japan,
for example
, did really well in
this
work which most citizens follow the official regulation to divide their garbage even though it takes them a lot of
effort
. Apart from the aforementioned method, there are still many available solutions to improve the
environment
. In the material-desiring society,
people
tend to overconsume which gradually becomes a big threat to the earth only if companies and the press stop encouraging
this
behaviour and release products at a reasonable pace. With the increasing awareness of consumers, it is likely that companies would spontaneously change their selling strategies. In summary, saving the beautiful planet is impossible to reach by only a few
people
;
therefore
, all
people
in the world should pay more
effort
into it and make strategies to effectively improve the
environment
.
