Some people believe that it’s appropriate for children to learn a foreign language in primary school. Does the advantage of this outweigh its disadvantage?

With the advent of globalization, some supporters advocate that the proper time for
pupils
to learn foreign languages is in elementary schools.
However
, some opponents disagree with that. I think that the pros are far more than the cons.
This
essay will provide my beliefs as follow.
To begin
with, some people think that children are too young to learn various subjects,
such
as maths, history, and
second
language
, while they are unfamiliar with their mother tongue.
Consequently
,
pupils
can be not only incapable of using their
language
well but
also
feel confused about the foreign one. Indeed, elementary
school
students’ brains may not mature enough to tackle intricate
language
processes.
However
, separating the learning modules into different occasions can help.
For example
, children speak their mother tongue at home and communicate with their friends and teachers in another
language
at
school
. In
this
way,
pupils
can learn both without being confused. Turning into the merits, learning a foreign
language
offers benefits while learners are young in primary
school
. Because approaching a new
language
earlier not merely allows apprentices’ pronunciation as native as foreigners but
also
helps them how to tackle conflicts during cognitive development.
Pupils
attempt a foreign
language
earlier, the more fluent they achieve without accents.
Additionally
, because students used to progress the complex
language
process between one to two languages, they have a strong capability of disposing conflicts and

their mental cognition. Compared with the drawbacks, I believe that there are more beneficial. In conclusion,
although
young children may feel difficult to learn a foreign
language
at
school
, I believe that the downside is outweighed by the upside,
such
as improvement of their accents and cognitive progress.
