Some companies sponsor sports as a way to advertise themselves. Some people think it is good, while others think there are disadvantages to this. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

These days,
companies
are using the promotion of
sports
as a means to advertise themselves. As some people believe that it is good, others debunked the
idea
with the belief that it has
disadvantages
. In
this
essay, I will discuss both sides and give my opinion. The adoption of
sports
sponsorship by
companies
as a way to advertise themselves could be seen as a smart
idea
with some foreseeable benefits.
Firstly
,
companies
that are yet popular can unleash into the limelight when
this
step is incorporated.
For instance
, when an unknown company hosts a very famous sport that has gone rife, there is a possibility that these particular
companies
would be notable.
Also
,
this
idea
has the chance of bringing parties and opulent individuals to seek partnership as everyone wants to collaborate with what brings forth success. As the benefits have been clearly stated, there are possible
disadvantages
this
step would pose to the
companies
. One of them could be the danger of attack by arms men as the company has showcased its financial buoyancy through the hosting of
sports
. Another demerit that could emanate from
this
idea
of
companies
is the risk of wastage of wherewithal if those
sports
don't gain attention and popularity, at
this
point, all the efforts and capital would become null and void. In my opinion, I believe the promotion of
sports
as means for
companies
to advertise themselves is a nice
idea
and would propel them to the digital market. In conclusion, despite the
disadvantages
arising from
companies
sponsoring
sports
as means to advertise themselves, the advantages would always outweigh the
disadvantages
.
