Some people argue that all experimentation on animals is bad and should be outlawed. However, others believe that important scientific discoveries can be made from animal experiments. Can experimentation on animals be justified? Are there any alternatives?

The
world
has always been a brutal place for
animals
in various aspects; in order to make human lives better,
animals
have to suffer. Since the beginning of life on earth,
Humans
always had more privileges than
animals
.
This
essay will first focus on people's argument that experimentation on
animals
should be outlawed, and later on, it will
also
give attention to the importance of scientific research. There are no reasons in the
world
that can justify the experimentation on innocent
animals
. Today, various drug
trials
are being conducted on animal bodies, as they possess body structures similar to
humans
. These
trials
are not always in the favor of
animals
; some lead them towards paralysis, deafness, blindness, etc.; a few of them often lead to poisonous effects that may even kill the animal.
This
brutality is not justifiable in any court of the
world
.
For instance
, more than 30% of
animals
in American laboratories are the victim of reactions caused by drug
trials
on them. Looking at the alternatives, all the governments are spending billions of dollars on research; they should allocate a specific budget to develop an artificial structure that reacts the same way human bodies do. By doing so, millions of
animals
around the globe can be saved and enjoy the same freedom as
humans
. There are many diseases that cause human deaths that are still active. If scientific research is not performed well, it may lead to a catastrophic disaster.
Therefore
, a human-like structure is essential for the well-being of the people.
For example
, NASA scientists are almost on the track to develop a replica of the human body structure that can be used as an alternative to an animal body. To recapitulate, experimentation on animal bodies should and must be outlawed, and an alternative must be discovered to perform clinical drug
trials
. The
world
should be a better place for both
humans
and
animals
. I genuinely believe that scientists will find a middle ground to make the Earth a better place to live.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
