There have been major advances in technology over the recent decades and this has lead to significant improvement in people’s lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays,
technology
plays a major role in our lives, and it has provided us with different merits in order to make our life
easier. But there is a debate against technology
saying it hurts people's social life
. In this
essay, I will be explaining both hypotheses and elaborating my thoughts in this
regard.
Technology
is an undetachable part of life
these days, living without the internet or electrical devices is not even imaginable for most people. Technology
has been progressing fastly during the last
years, as a result
, we can see that some advanced technologies like artificial intelligence are performing the same as human beings in many cases. For example
, autonomous cars have decreased the average number of car accidents across the world as they can drive safer than mankind. In another instance, we see hybrid and electric vehicles have decreased gas emissions globally. These are only two examples of technology
's benefits for our world.
On the other hand

development has its own disadvantages. For example
, addiction to social media is a critical issue for all societies in this
era. Teenagers are getting addicted to social media and video games increasingly, today. This
issue has caused various mental and physical damage to the young generation, consequently
, the rate of social misbehaviours and crimes has increased among people under 25. Therefore
, it is of significance to be aware of these dangerous side effects of technology
and educate students with the required knowledge from an early age.
In conclusion, Although
technology
has brought us many benefits and helped us to have a better life
, it will harm us if we are not conscious of its possible damages. In my view, technological advancement like everything has its advantages and disadvantages, thus
