Dear Sam,
Congratulations on getting selected for the management degree program at
Ottawa
university
. I`m happy to help you by giving some tips and advice on finding a good place to accommodate around Change the capitalization
University
Ottawa
.
When I was studying at Ottawa
university
, I lived in a Change the capitalization
University
Homestay
at Clairton city in Ottawa
. It is located just 5Km away from the university
and it cost me only 200 USD per month which is quite cheap compared to others. The homestay
was owned by a gentleman called Mr Steve and he is one of the nicest tenants I have ever come across. He is really helpful and he loves to serve tea every morning free of charge.
You could also
check www.ottawaaccommodation.com for homestay
and guesthouses that are keen on giving rooms on a long-term basis. Also
, I heard that the university
website itself has given some places they recommend.
Once you managed to find a location to stay, you must be careful when signing up contract agreement. I advised you to read everything carefully and ensure you understood everything which has mentioned in the document. Also
, pay the monthly rent at the end of the month. Some may ask to pay at the beginning but you could negotiate and push to the end.
If you would like to know about the homestay
I lived, please give me a call so I can share Mr Steve`s contact number.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
