There has been a controversy about whether workers should wear
uniforms
while working. Some people claim it's necessary to wear, the others have the opposite opinion. I think employees should wear it, and my reasons will be explained in the following paragraphs.
First
,
uniforms
can effectively manage
staff
. As we know, people in different positions have different
uniforms
;
for example
, office workers wear suits, and industrial workers wear cargo clothes. The reason why there is a difference in
uniforms
is that those clothes can remain the responsibility each worker should take, manage their behaviour, and give them an identity in the company.
Second
, they can create an enterprise culture. No matter what employees do off duty, when they are on duty and wear the uniform, they can get into a working status promptly. Those
uniforms
don't only reflect
staff
's status; they
also
reflect the company's culture.
For example
, flight attendants constantly wear unified
uniforms
, and those
uniforms
convey a message of professionalism;
in other words
, they give their clients a feeling that
this
airline is professional. It's worth mentioning that a good uniform can promote
staff
's working efficiency. Whenever they wear
this
uniform, they feel a sense of belonging.
As a result
, they will work harder.
On the other hand
, there are some disadvantages

wearing
uniforms
.
For instance
, it can bring discomfort and exhaustion. It's expected that some
uniforms
are formal, like suits, they are uncomfortable to wear and make
staff
feel ill at ease; especially females are required to wear high-wheel shoes in many occupations. And when they are off-duty, they probably feel extremely tired. In conclusion, I believe the merits of
uniforms
outstrip their demerits.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
