There has been a trend that many

no longer read books; they would rather spend their time using modern

,
such

as socializing. I believe
this
Linking Words
is a negative trend, and my reasons will be explained in the following paragraphs.
First
Linking Words
and foremost. Modern
technology

adversely affects kids' characteristics. There are many prevailing apps, like TikTok. Those apps bring entertainment to our life;
however

, those apps have negative impacts.
For instance

, they let

become impatient. As we know, gaining new knowledge can be a long and arduous way;
nevertheless

, due to the popularity of modern
technology

, information has been imparted in the form of video. Those videos are usually around 1-5 mins, and knowledge in those videos is explained in the easiest way.
As a result

, modern
technology

simplifies the steps of obtaining new information but
also

brings impatience, especially in

Second

, modern

can alter

's outlook to a large extent. Due to technological development, people can use the

hence

such

a trend is bound to influence young generations; kids will think it's useless to spend time studying and being an

On the other hand
Linking Words
, if
children

could sit down and read some books, they will find they can obtain a lot.
For example

, reading can practice your temper. It's commonplace that it takes at least hours to finish reading a book.
Thus

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
