Several languages are in danger of extinction because they spoken by very small numbers of people. Some people say that government should spend public money on saving thise languages, while other believes that would be a waste of money. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

There are several
languages
which are at risk of disappearing from the world due to lack of use by
people
. Some
people
argue that
governments
should financially support saving these
languages
, whereas others think that it is a wastage of
money
. I believe protecting dialects which are in danger is important, I disagree that
governments
should allocate
money
for
this
.
This
essay will discuss both these viewpoints.
Firstly
,
governments
should allocate funds to serve the basic needs of society like food, medicine and education, and fuel.
Further
, if the economy is more stable, authorities can financially support improving peoples' wealth by improving public transportation, sports facilities etc
instead
of spending them to save the
languages
which are at risk of dying.
Therefore
the quality of life will be improved while society and economy are more stable.
Moreover
, the young generation today is not encouraged to study local dialects. Because they see it as a waste of their time since learning those
languages
is not very useful for their lives and career.
For example
, research that has been done using 10 000 university students has shown that 80% of students are not using local
languages
for day-to-day verbal communication.
Thus
money
will be a waste if
people
are not encouraged to learn.
On the other hand
, language is a prominent feature that can exhibit the value of a well-established culture to the world.
Therefore
saving
languages
which are in danger of disappearing is significant as it presents our heritage and proud history to the globe. Because of that financial allocations can be done by
governments
up to a certain level to overcome
this
danger. To conclude, even though a cultural value is involved with
languages
and they are at risk of dying,
governments
should mainly allocate their funds to ensure the quality of life of
people
.
Furthermore
,
money
will be wasted when
people
are not willing to speak those dialects.
